Valve announces the launch of Steam Greenlight

Steam Greenlight has launched, Valve has announced. Steam Greenlight allows developers and publishers to post information regarding a game in the works and the Community will help get it released on Steam. Greenlight "piggybacks on Steam Workshop's flexible system," which organizes content and lets customers rate and leave feedback. Serving as a "clearing house for game submissions," Greenlight also provides added exposure for new games and an opportunity "to connect directly with potential customers and fans." Go look for yourself.
