Last year, it was NVGs with Modern Warfare 2. This year, it'll be your own M16! OK, maybe not.

US retailer Buy.com listed overnight Hardened and Prestige versions of Call of Duty: Black Ops, following the success of MW2's premium SKUs last year.

The listings have since been yanked off its website, but IGN caught them in time.

Nothing was revealed on the contents of either version, but Hardened will set you back $80 and Hardened will be $150.

gamescom announcement? Perhaps. We'll chuck out an email to Activision anyways.

Call of Duty: Black Ops releases on November 9 on PS3, 360, Wii, PC and DS.
