US PS Store Update, April 5 - Lara Croft sale, Red Faction, SOCOM beta

This week's update to the US PS Store features some hefty sales and a Red Faction tie-in title.

To tie in with the upcoming release of Volition's Red Faction: Armageddon, Juice has developed a twin-stick vehicle shooter mini-game - Red Faction: Battlegrounds. A demo is available, and the full thing goes for $9.99.

The SOCOM 4 beta, previously restricted to PS Plus subscribers, is up now in the demo section and accessible to all.

A number of permanent price changes have been put into effect, but the cream of the discount crop is probably isometric action title Lara Crfot and the Guardian of Light, dropped from $14.99 to $7.99.

Angry Birds is down to $1.99 from $3.99, and Wolf of The Battlefield: Commando 3 has been reduced to $4.99.

On the DLC side, Yoostar and Test Drive Unlimited 2 each receive multiple new packs. Stacking's Hobo King pack is up for $4.99, and Rock Band receives four new tracks including Joy Division's Love Will Tear Us Apart.

Qore Episode 35 also goes up this week, and is free to PS Plus subscribers.
