Talking to Kotaku's Patrick Klepek, writers Graham Reznick and Larry Fessenden - who were brought in to work on the game in 2011 - essentially had to write the game twice, as it moved from being a PS3 game with PlayStation Move support to the PS4 surprise hit it became.

The game was originally played it first-person, but ended up as a third-person game with a choose-your-own-adventure twist, which beefed up the dialog considerably. Still, the final game uses just a fraction of the 10,000 pages the pair wrote.
