Until Dawn: Rush of Blood VR looks like a heart attack waiting to happen

Until Dawn: Rush of Blood will help usher in an exciting new use for virtual reality - frightening gamers to death.

Watch on YouTube

Until Dawn: Rush of Blood is a VR experience from Ready at Dawn, which as you may recall spent years researching and testing horror to craft the delightfully creepy teen-slasher Until Dawn.

In the video above, the team go into detail on how they spent ages researching and testing horror to do it all again, but this time in VR. From what I've heard, Until Dawn: Rush of Blood demos have reduced grown games journalists to screams and tears, something normally only achieved by closing a bar early.

Matt and I both enjoyed Until Dawn very much, in different ways. It was all anybody talked about that month, and its success surprised Sony, which had apparently made one of its famous decisions about Enabling Broad Experiences rather than an Accumulating Cash Money one.

And now it's back, and likely to kill me. When my body is found rotting with a PlayStation VR attached to my head and Until Dawn: Rush of Blood still whirring in the PS4 please give all my nice things to the local animal shelter.
