UK charts: LA Noire holds off DiRT 3 for top spot

Codemasters rally-racer DiRT 3 surges into the top ten of the UK charts, but is barely kept from the top spot by Rockstar's LA Noire.

Sales ratio for DiRT 3, which has also outsold its 2009 predecessor, was at a staggering 67 percent for Xbox 360 compared to PlayStation 3's 37 percent. PC sales weren't specified, although that SKU had a mainly digital launch.

Due to the racer's appearance at two, Lego Pirates gets bumped a spot, while Zumba Fitness and Bethesda shooter Brink round off the top five.
