Bethesda's Fallout: New Vegas has entered as this week's number one in the UK charts. It's a very glum story for DJ Hero 2, though.

Sixty percent of sales for New Vegas were attributed to the 360 version, with PS3 gaining a 30 percent share and PC taking 10 percent.

Last week's number one, Medal of Honor, was shoved to two. FIFA 11, new entry Professor Layton and the Lost Future and Just Dance 2 finish the top five.

For other new entries, Sega's Vanquish enters at 12, while EA Sports MMA and DJ Hero 2 miss out on the top 20 altogether, charting at 23 and 25 respectively.

Full top ten for the week ending October 23 is below. Last week's data is here.

  2. Medal of Honor (Danger Close/DICE, EA)
  3. FIFA 11 (EA Sports, EA)
