Ubisoft wants you to make art, music, and story for Beyond Good and Evil 2

Ubisoft announced a partnership with HitRecord today, a company headed up by actor Joseph Gordon-Levitt.

HitRecord is a collaborative creative agency, essentially. Ubisoft wants artists, writers, and musicians to submit work to them. The best stuff will appear in Beyond Good and Evil 2, giving the game a 'real world' connection.

Here’s the trailer announcing the thing:

During the show, it wasn’t clear what the deal was with these collaborative works - would contributors even be paid? Gordon-Levitt has since cleared things up on Twitter.

The people who contribute to the game will be paid - hopefully fairly - for their work, so that’s great news. Now pop off and help Ubisoft make the thing, eh?
