Ubisoft releases Assassin's Creed Odyssey musical theme as a single
Say what you will about triple-AAA games and annual releases like Assassin's Creed Odyssey - they're still producing some good music.
Assassin's Creed Odyssey was one of the more exciting E3 2018 entries, thanks to how it built new RPG mechanics onto Origins' gameplay. But the music sounds great to, if the newly released main theme is anything to go on.
The track is called "Legend of the Eagle Bearer", a single now available on YouTube, iTunes, and Spotify. It's composed by the composer/producer duo The Flight, last seen working on Horizon Zero Dawn.
The track certainly invokes a classically epic tone, one that should be a good fit for Odyssey. You'll hear it again when the game launches for PC, PlayStation4, and Xbox One on October 5, 2018.
