Ubisoft announces Techland ATV racer in the works, Babel Rising for XBLA and PSN

During its Digital Days event in France and the US, Ubisoft announced and outlined its various titles in the works, starting with a PSN and XBLA version of its iPhone game, Babel Rising.

In Babel Rising, gamers play as God, preventing humans from building the tower of Babel. Gamers stop the humans from reaching heaven by hurling bolts of lightning, summoning massive earthquakes or unleashing floods upon the city. It will be released next year with 3D graphics and competitive and cooperative multiplayer modes and will contain support for both Move and Kinect.

The firm also announced another XBLA and PSN title in the works from Techland, which is an ATV racer. Codenamed Project Haste, the game features "fast-paced racing, aerial tricks, extensive vehicle customization options and a competitive multiplayer experience." It too, is slated for a 2012 release.

I Am Alive and Shoot Many Robots were also shown at the event, both of which are also set for a digital release.

Facebookers weren't left out either, and can expect games based on CSI: Miami, House, and NCIS to grace the social network.

House M.D.: Critical Cases will be released later this year, while CSI: Miami, and NCIS: Major Crimes will release in 2012.

Shots for Babel Rising and Project Haste are posted below.
