Ubisoft announces gamecom line-up, press conference 

Ubisoft has announced its line-up for gamescom, and has also released a time for press conference which takes place during the event.

Ubisoft’s press conference will take place at 3.00pm on August 15 in the Konrad-Adenauer-Saal, Congress-Centrum North. Therein, executives will unveil new free-to-play titles set in the universes of some of Ubisoft’s franchises and detail the company’s plans in e-sports and other growing online game genres.

Starting August 16, Gamescom attendees can visit Ubisoft’s booth inside hall 7 to try many of Ubisoft’s upcoming games, including:

  • Assassin’s Creed III
  • Assassin’s Creed III Liberation
  • Far Cry 3
  • Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Online
  • Shootmania: Storm

Gamers also can try the following games on Wii U:

  • Rabbids Land
  • Rayman Legend
  • Sports Connection
  • Your Shape Fitness Evolved 2013
  • ZombiU

Attendees also can watch an extended demo of Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell: Blacklist, and see Just Dance 4 , the Hip Hop Dance Experience and The Settlers Online in the main stage area of Ubisoft’s booth.

In addition, the finals of the Op3n ShootMania GamesCom 2012 tournament will take place in the Electronic Sports League booth during the afternoon of August 17, and will be broadcast live from the Ubisoft booth’s main stage.

For those attending the Cologne Pop Festival, Ubisoft will have a Rocksmith bus available where players can get their paws on the guitar game.

gamescom takes place August 15 – 19 in Cologne, Germany.
