Ubidays 2008: Beyond Good & Evil 2 shown in trailer form

Ubisoft just showed Beyond Good & Evil 2 at the Ubidays press conference. CEO Yves Guillemot said it was the "future of games".
We saw the main character, Jade, sitting on a car in the desert and the pig chap sleeping in the sun under a paper.
And that was that.
No detail was given on release date or platform.
