Ubisoft's just reported Q3 revenue at €495 million, down 2.7 percent from the same period last year.

The first nine months of fiscal 2009-10 weren't so solid, however. Sales dropped to €661 million compared to €852 million for the three quarters ending December 31 in 2008, a 22.4 percent decrease.

The French company said it's sticking with its strategy of "concentrating on more regular releases for its major franchises."

As far as Ubi's Q4 goes, the firm plans to release the PC version of Assassin’s Creed 2, Red Steel 2, The Settlers 7: Paths to a Kingdom and Silent Hunter 5: Battle of the Atlantic between now and the end of March.

The company added that it expects 2010 to be "stable," with "at least" seven franchise titles making it out, including Splinter Cell Conviction, Driver, Prince of Persia The Forgotten Sands, the new Assassin’s Creed, Ghost Recon: Future Soldier (announced this morning) and another Raving Rabbids game.
