Turtle Beach to provide Wii U, 3DS headsets

Turtle Beach has announced it'll be making official accessories for Wii U and 3DS.

The deal will see the company make headsets specifically for the next Nintendo home system that'll also work on 3DS and DS.

"The Wii U launch will be one of the biggest new game console events of the year and we couldn’t be more excited to support Wii U with a line of headsets," said Turtle Beach marketing boss Bob Picunko.

"The advanced capabilities of the upcoming Wii U allow us to take full advantage of the technology we’ve developed and deliver gamers the kind of quality they fully expect from both Turtle Beach and Nintendo."

"We are very excited to be working with Turtle Beach to launch new gaming headsets for Wii U," added Nintendo of America licensing VP Steve Singer.
