Troy: A Total War Saga leaks

It looks like the next Total War will be set in Ancient Turkey/Greece.

Troy: A Total War Saga is the new game in the strategy series from Sega, according to the cover of PC Gamer UK (yes, the magazine). A photo of issue 336 was posted on Reddit earlier today by user Mavus.

This is a world exclusive for the magazine, according to the cover. More interestingly, it looks like Troy will take the Total War series further into fantasy territory. "Epic battle in a world of gods and monsters," it reads.

Total War Saga is a subseries of the strategy franchise that typically focuses on smaller conflicts. Saga games feature less content compared to the mainline series, and are priced accordingly.

Sega has not even hinted at the setting of the next Total War Saga, but a trademark registration from last month basically revealed the name. At the very least, it sounds like we're getting close to an official reveal.
