Tropico 5 cinematic trailer is a large nod to the Pirates of the Caribbean movie

Tropico 5 will reveal El Presidente's first foray onto the island paradise of Tropico during the early colonial period. A cinematic video released today shows that fateful day, which is a rather large nod to the first Pirates of the Caribbean movie. The game tasks players with guiding the island through the colonial period and through the following centuries. Tropico 5 will add cooperative and competitive multiplayer for up to four players for the first time in the series’ history, and will be released on Linux Mac, PC and Xbox 360 in early summer, and on PlayStation 4 later this year.
