Valkyrie Profile developer tri-Ace acquired by Japanese mobile firm

Resonance of Fate developer tri-Ace has been purchased by mobile development firm Nepro Japan.
According to a press release issued by Nepro Japan, the acquisition will help broaden development of the firm's phone and tablet games with tri-Ace as a subsidiary.
The developer was known for RPG titles such as the Star Ocean and Valkyrie Profile franchises, Radiata Stories, Phantasy Star Nova, and worked with Square Enix on Final Fantasy 13-2 and Lightning Returns.
