A Millennial Media report has claimed that both PS3 and PSP are in the top four "devices" connected to its "network".

iPod Touch and iPad are the most popular connected gizmos, according to the research firm, with PSP and then PS3 making up the top four.

The mobile advertising company's figures are based on data captured in this year's third quarter.

In September, SCE boss Kaz Hirai claimed that 80 percent of all PS3s in the market are connected to PSN, compared to Xbox Live’s 23 million users as of January 2010.

By Hirai’s reckoning, there are 30.48 million machines connected to PSN globally; PS3 sales currently stand at 38.1 million.
