Tomb Raider gameplay shows late-stage battle

Recently, Square Enix sent us a video showing what traversal looks like towards the finale of Tomb Raider, when Lara has all her gear unlocked. If you're interested in the other half of gameplay, check out this near end-game face off against a pack of trained warriors. Don't watch this if you have any qualms about spoilers.

It's a good chance to see Tomb Raider's combat in action, although it's a shame there's not more discussion of the cool things you can do with fully upgraded weapons and melee abilities; she has quite the toolkit by this stage, especially if you've been even slightly diligent about collecting upgrades. Watch out for a shotgun finishing move, and a melee counter to the knee.

Tomb Raider is available on PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. It drew good reviews and warm fan reaction, but didn't meet Square Enix's sales expectations.
