Tokyo Game Show 2014's theme is "Changing Games: The Transformation of Fun"

Organizers of this years Tokyo Game Show have given it the theme "Changing Games: The Transformation of Fun."

"The theme implies games created by fusion with network will break ground the new world of game with a renewed vision," the press release read.

"This innovation which exceeds the common sense in games should bring unknown inspiration and excitement to people."

The show organizers are expecting an estimated number of 220,000 visitors, 300 exhibitors and 1,600 booths.

Applications for booths are now being accepted until May 30 for the show which will run from September 18 to 21. Last year's event attracted over 270.000 vistors, 352 companies and media from 36 countries.
