Titanfall will have 3 mech types at launch, Respawn 'fearful' over launch

Titanfall developer Respawn Entertainment has confirmed that the shooter will launch with three mech types. Community manager Abbie Heppe has discussed this and more on Twitter.

It follows word that Titanfall's first DLC expansion is coming Q3 2014. Hit the link for all the details.

Now on Twitter, Heppe has been discussing some aspects of Titanfall's March 11 launch with fans, first confirming that there will be three Titan types at launch. We know them as the Atlas, Ogre and Stryder.

Meanwhile, another gamer asked Respawn co-founder Vince Zampella if he was excited about Titanfall's launch. He replied:

@Pikepointzero yes, but mixed with a bit of fear. We want the launch to be as smooth as possible. Beta should help.

We don't blame him for feeling nervous. Titanfall's got a lot of hype on its metallic shoulders after all, and there's the whole 6v6 players online thing.

Also, responding to YouTube restrictions on Titanfall gameplay, Zampella told one fan not to worry:
