Titanfall beta: watch Sam clamber over mechs, zip over roofs, enact carnage

Titanfall's beta kicks off on Friday, but Sam's already had a go; watch him zip around the environment, dominate the opposition, ride piggyback on a lumbering giant mech, hack spectres, and even squash a foe with a Titan.

As Sam says towards the end of the video, we'll have a bunch more gameplay footage over the next few days, so if you don't make it into the beta you'll still get a chance to take a look at it. Still - go sign up, right now.

This is the PC version, running on a pretty fancy GPU, and as you'll have seen in our comparison it does look nicer than the Xbox One version. The Xbox 360 version doesn't come out for a couple of weeks after the primary launch in mid-March, and won't be as pretty as this. Will this game sell a gazillion Xbox Ones? It just might.
