This week's new Xbox One backwards compatible titles are Bayonetta, de Blob 2 and Arkanoid Live
Arkanoid Live is a 2009 reprisal of a Taito arcade game from the 1980's. These others should need no introduction.
Microsoft has announced three new additions to the list of Xbox 360 games playable on Xbox One via backwards compatibility.
First up is Bayonetta, the stylish action effort from the minds behind Devil May Cry. Next we have de Blob 2, a sadly underrated puzzle platformer made in Australia, the hardiest of continents. And then finally there's some modern reinterpretation of a coin-op of the sort that seemed to fill Xbox Live Arcade.

Good old Xbox One. It's been chasing PS4 all generation by a pretty wide margin, but it's just had two months in the top slot in the US. That may change in the month ahead now that the PS4 Slim is out the PS4 Pro has been dated, but things are looking up for Redmond. It's all a lot more interesting when it isn't one-sided.
The backwards compatibility is a terrific bit of value adding for loyal Xbox fans, isn't it? The PlayStation Nation is pretty envious of that Red Dead Redemption situation.
