This Battlezone gameplay video takes a look at the PSVR launch title

Battlezone, the Rebellion-developed homages to Atari’s 1980 tank combat title, is coming first to PlayStation VR and we have a video for you today providing a look at it in action.

VR games are best experienced when wearing a headset as videos can't really convey the actual feel of virtual reality. But those such as the one from Arekkz above give you an idea of what to expect once you do try them out for yourself.

Rebellion acquired the rights to the Battlezone IP three years or so ago, and the VR entry into the series features a procedurally-generated campaign mode with a nice cockpit view.

Battlezone is just one of the games which will be made available when PlayStation VR launches next week on October 13. It is also included on the demo disc which comes with the headset in the US.

The game will also be made available on PC sometime after it launched on PSVR, and it will support Oculus Rift.
