"There’s a lot of people we p**sed off" with CoD Elite launch, says Activision

Beachhead has admitted it needs to win back users who were turned off Call of Duty Elite following the service's dismal start alongside Modern Warfare 3 in November last year.

Alongside the launch of Elite on consoles, which took a month before it was finally sorted, the PC version of the service is still to materialise six months after it launched.

Activision product manager Noah Heller says it's now a case of proving Elite can handle its own.

"We still have to prove ourselves," Heller told MCV.

"There’s a lot of people we p**sed off all the way back to November, and we have to show them we are not going to let that happen again. But we have started fulfilling our promises and people are starting to get it is real value for money."
