The Witness 1.02 PS4 update adds options to help with motion sickness issues

The Witness has received a new patch on PlayStation 4 that should help with reported cases of motion sickness. Since launch, a number of players found that the game's limited field of view and general colours could cause some people to feel nauseous.

The new patch, which came out yesterday on the North American PSN, is due later today in Europe.

After applying the patch, you'll see a toggle to turn the reticule on or off. A field-of-view slider was added, too, allowing for up to 100 degrees. Under the Settings menu, you can also choose to darken the screen around the edges.

A number of reports on Reddit indicate that these issues have been quelled, though seemingly not for all players.
