The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt isn't going to sell out with console-exclusive content, here's why

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt developer CD Projekt RED is known for flying in the face of industry dick-moves like DRM and paid exclusives, and that trend is set to continue with its new RPG.

It follows company CEO Marcin Iwinski explaining why publishers aren't always a magic ticket to more sales, and why they will often crush your vision. They were hard, but not incorrect words in some cases.

Now, speaking with Eurogamer, Iwinski kept the truth-ball rolling by stating that his team won't announce any form of Witcher 3 exclusive content at E3 2014, and teased that the game might "hopefully" appear during one of the big conferences. He didn't clarify which one though.

"We are treating all gamers equally," Iwinski explained.

"We'll not deliver exclusive content to any of the platforms, nor will we artificially delay release of the game on any of the platforms because somebody's paying us money for that. It's definitely against our values. We are not doing that."
