The Witcher 3: no new content after Blood and Wine

The Witcher 3 is a massive game, and with the release of the next expansion, Blood and Wine, it will get even bigger.

Unfortunately, that will be the end of it for Geralt and co., as developer CD Projekt RED will move on to its other hot project, Cyberpunk 2077.

Speaking to Eurogamer, game director Konrad Tomaszkiewicz confirmed that Blood and Wine will indeed be the final piece of content for The Witcher 3. "This is the last thing we deliver and we focus on Cyberpunk," he told the site.

Patches, however, will continue, as long as there are things to fix. Tomaszkiewicz added that a new patch will be released before Blood and Wine drops, and probably another after that.

Blood and Wine adds a big new region, complete with new quests, points of interests, weapons, as well as Gwent cards. The expansion also introduces major overhauls to the game's UI.

Blood and Wine is out May 31 on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
