Hours from the official release of The Witcher 3's Hearts of Stone expansion, the special edition has been delayed in North America.
The Witcher 3 developer CD Projekt RED has revealed that the Hearts of Stone special edition will not make its release date today. The delay affects all North American orders and it's due to "logistical reasons," according to a new post on the game's forums.
The boxed version of the expansion includes two physical Gwent card decks.
"We are working with GameStop to fix this situation as soon as possible and deeply apologize for the inconvenience," said the studio's Marcin Momot.
Hearts of Stone is available now digitally on PSN, Xbox Games Store, Steam, and GOG. This is the game's first expansion and it brings around ten hours of new content, new quests, characters, and a new game mechanic.
