The Witcher 3 Grandmaster Ursine Gear locations

The Witcher 3's Grandmaster Ursine gear is perfect if you need to take heavy hits and don't mind some extra weight.

Like most of The Witcher 3's more advanced gear, you need to hunt down the Ursine Gear diagram locations and then have a master smith put them all together.

Since the Ursine set is heavier than others, make sure you've got some high-quality saddlebags on hand or a certain potion to help increase Geralt's weight capacity.

Witcher 3 Grandmaster Ursine Gear

The Grandmaster Ursine Gear is a heavy armor set that increases Armor, but reduces Stamina regeneration. Players must be level 40 or higher to equip these gear items. Additional bonuses are applied when wearing three or six pieces of the Grandmaster Ursine Set. The stat bonuses are as follows:

• 3/6 Equipped Pieces - Bonus chance to cast another Quen shield at no Stamina cost, only if previous Quen shield shatters. A 5% bonus increase is applied for each equipped set piece.
• 6/6 Equipped Pieces - Damage inflicted from Quen related abilities increases by 200%.

Grandmaster Ursine Armor, Gauntlets, and Silver Sword

The first three diagrams for the Grandmaster Ursine Gear are found together in a wine cellar below Flovive. Travel east of Beauclair towards the opposite side of the waterway to reach the docks of Flovive. Enter the village and approach the red building on the left that appears to be sinking into the ground.

Pass around the left side of the building and look for a pile of rubble. Use the Aard sign to clear the rubble, revealing an abandoned cellar. Loot the chest in the alcove on the right to obtain the diagrams for the Grandmaster Ursine armor, gauntlets, and silver sword. There are some other valuable items hidden deeper in the passage, so be sure to explore the cellar and collect the additional loot before you leave.

Grandmaster Ursine Trousers, Boots, and Steel Sword

Three more Grandmaster Ursine diagrams are found within a cave southeast of the Cockatrice Inn. From Flovive, travel north until you discover a cave at the end of the watery inlet. Several Giant Centipedes inhabit the cave system. Be prepared to fight these poisonous insectoids as you explore the cave.

Upon entering the cave, the first Giant Centipede will block your path as you approach a small pool of water. Fight the creature and proceed through the corridor. Just after you pass over a stream, another Giant Centipede will attack from the passage on the left. Defeat this insectoid, then loot the nearby corpse to discover the three diagrams for the Grandmaster Bear School trousers, boots, and steel sword. The cave also contains armor dyes and various other loot, so be sure to thoroughly pillage the cave before leaving.
