The Surge in-game screenshots show off enemies big and small

The Surge, the new game from Lords of the Fallen developer Deck 13, will be shown off at E3 next month. Until then, the studio released two new screenshots and a few bits of info about the game's world and protagonist.

In the screens, you can see some of the early enemies Warren, the game's protagonist, will be facing against. Warren, as well as his enemies, are equipped with exoskeleton suits.

Because the game allows for dismemberment, you'll be able to salvage the armour they're wearing on each limb when you decide to kill them that way. If you don't go for their limbs and instead take them out the hard way, you'll earn crafting materials you can use to upgrade your character.

The Surge is out in 2017 for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
