The Shining's hedge maze realised as first-person browser game

Stanley Kubrick's legendary adaptation of Stephen King's seminal horror book The Shining has been adapted as a Unity-based, first-person exploration title that's playable in your browser now.

Indie developer James Houston explained on his blog that he has been teaching himself Unity3D, and as a project decided to map out the Overlook Hotel's hedge maze as close to the top-down image seen in the film's painting scene.

The game is free to play in browsers here and sees players dropped in the middle of the maze. There is only one exit.
