The Outer Worlds has shipped over 2 million units, significantly exceeding company expectations

Take-Two is very pleased with sales of The Outer Worlds.

The company announced during its Q3 call to investors The Outer Worlds has shipped over 2 million units to date, significantly exceeding Take-Two's expectations.

During its Q2 report in November, the company said the game had exceeded expectations but didn't provide any figures.

Released in late-October on PC, PS4 and Xbox One, the game was slated to release for Switch on March 6, but worries over the coronavirus have caused the game to be delayed.

Take-Two said on the investors call the game will now release for Switch during its next fiscal year which begins in April.
