The Monster Hunter XX demo hits Switch tomorrow, here's how to get started if you don't speak Japanese

A Monster Hunter XX demo releases tomorrow on Switch eshop in Japan, but you can download it no matter where you live, and here's a quick guide on how to grab it in case you aren't familiar with such things.

Well, tomorrow for us, but today for Japan because as of press time it's August 10th in the region. So today. Or at least right now. Darn time zones. Anyway.

Capcom announced last week a demo would be made available for Monster Hunter XX, but it's only being released in Japan. But it's region-free so that helps.

As previously reported, those who download the demo can tray out all 14 weapons, three fighting styles and battle it out with three monsters each with its own difficulty rating.

The video above from Arekkz is a guide on how to download the Monster Hunter XX Nintendo Switch demo from the Japanese eshop. He also provides a quick guide for those not fluent in Japanese on how to get started in the game.

Capcom hasn’t said it’s ruling out a western release, but until a decision is made, there's always Monster Hunter Worldto look forward to.

Monster Hunter XX was released on 3DS in Japan since last year and hits Switch on August 25.
