The Long Dark reaches its Kickstarter goal

Hinterland has announced that its open world survival game The Long Dark has reached its Kickstarter goal of $200,000, with only 47 hours left.

In an update on the game's Kickstarter page, the developer expressed its gratitude and thanked the fans for their support.

The developer also noted that they are working to get a website up tomorrow for those that prefer paying using PayPal.

At the time of writing, the game is sitting at $216,381, with the next stretch goal at $225,000. If achieved, the game will receive a downloadable graphic novel.

The Long Dark is an open world survival game developed by Hinterland Studio, a joint effort made up of ex-Relic Entertainment, BioWare, Riot Games and Volition Inc. The game recently acquired the voice talent of Jennifer Hale.

Thanks, PCGamesN.
