The Legend of Zelda turns 25 in the US

The Legend of Zelda turned 25 yesterday in the US. The inaugural game in the lauded series was released on the Nintendo Entertainment System in the US on August 22, and it sold over 6.5 million copies worldwide and was the first NES title to sell over 1 million. We feel old all of a sudden - thanks alot NintendoLife. Still, hats off and Happy Birthday Link.
