The Last of Us adds two free maps and matchmaking improvements

A patch today addressing many matchmaking issues in Factions mode for The Last of Us Remastered has been released.

Naughty Dog said players should see improved matchmaking as the update rolls out over the next 24 hours globally.

With the patch, as outlined before, comes two new free multiplayer maps: the Beach and Financial Plaza.

Both are available for free for both PS3 and PS4 players. The maps for PS4 are around 291MB in size and the patch weighs in at 137MB.

For PS3, patch 1.09 will be approximately 170MB and the same maps are about 143MB.

There's also a Scoped Weapons Bundle available with four weapons. It can be purchased on the PlayStation Store for $2.99/€2.99/£2.49.

If you prefer, you can buy each individually for $0.99.
