The Last of Us: Part 2 was internally delayed to 2020 - report

The Last of Us: Part 2 has seemingly traded release windows with Death Stranding.

Kotaku's Jason Schreier has revealed that The Last of Us: Part 2 was initially planned for release this fall, but was only recently pushed back to early 2020.

Schreier suggests the game is shooting for release in February, though he's unable to say for sure.

This is interesting because reports from earlier this week made many believe Sony was about to announce release dates for both The Last of Us: Part 2, and Death Stranding. In fact, more people had money on Naughty Dog's game releasing this year than Kojima's new IP.

Now that Death Stranding has been officially confirmed for November, and that rumoured Last of Us: Part 2 news didn't materialise, this new information makes a lot more sense.
