The Gunk is a new game from the SteamWorld developer and it looks a mess
The Gunk is a new exclusive for Xbox Series X, Xbox One and PC.
We're not entirely sure what's going on, but there's lots of gooey, messy, funky, gunky, sloppy stuff all over an alien planet and our hero is sucking it up and manipulating it with a giant metal hand.
The Gunk is from Image & Form Games, who you may know for the very cool SteamWorld games.
"The Gunk stars a duo of gritty space haulers, struggling to make a buck as they chance upon an untouched planet brimming with life. They’ve come to gather alien plants and other valuable resources, and it looks like they’ve hit the jackpot," says Image & Form Games.
"However, as they start uncovering the dormant secrets of a shattered civilization, they realize that they must save the planet from the curse of a corruptive gunk parasite – while desperately keeping themselves from getting caught in a spiral of festering mistrust."
The Gunk is due for release in the fall of 2021.
