The Gardens Between is a time-warping puzzle game about nostalgia
The visually stunning indie game called The Gardens Between finally has a PC and console release date.
The Gardens Between was first revealed for PS4 and more recently featured at Nintendo's indie line-up. Whatever platform you choose, this impressive-looking puzzle game is finally launching next month.
Developed by The Voxel Agents, The Gardens Between is a time-warping adventure puzzle game that takes place on a series of mysterious islands. Players must guide best friends Arina and Frendt through a variety of dreamlike puzzles based on their childhood memories, exploring their past and eventually facing some hard truths on what they've lost.
"It’s our hope that players are not only touched by the story of Arina and Frendt, but that they take time to remember their own special relationships growing up," Voxel Agents co-founder Simon Joslin said in statement. "While so many of the objects featured in the gardens are from our own childhoods, we hope our audience will relate and recall a time when friendship meant everything."
The Gardens Between will be available for PC, Mac, PlayStation 4, and the Nintendo Switch on September 20, 2018. Digital preorders are available today for the MacStore and Switch editions.
