The Fastest Cars In Need For Speed Heat

Here’s our list of the five best cars available in Need for Speed Heat.

Need for Speed Heat can’t be beat without skill, sure, but skill doesn’t mean much without some of the fastest cars to use them in. And while there’s no shortage of supercars and roadhogs to pick from, we’ve looked up the five fastest cars and what you need to unlock them.

The McLaren P1 '14. | Joel Franey/USGamer, EA

McLaren P1 ‘14

  • Rating: 346
  • Max Potential Horsepower: 1,232
  • 0-60 MPH(s): 2.80
  • Top Speed (MPH): 217
  • Unlocks at: REP Level 40

The P1 is perhaps the most versatile of the upper tier, in that it’s not COMPLETELY built for on-road racing like the others. Only mostly. Compared to the other cars it’s more of a jack-of-all trades, albeit with the kind of engine you’d normally find on a jet plane.

The Ferrari LaFerrari '13. | Joel Franey/USGamer, EA

Ferrari LaFerrari ‘13

  • Rating: 360
  • Max Potential Horsepower: 1,321
  • 0-60 MPH(s): 2.80
  • Top Speed (MPH): 218
  • Unlocks at: REP Level 40

The car so nice they named it twice, the Ferrari LaFerrari prioritises high horsepower and a frame built so low to the ground you’re practically burrowing your way to victory. That being said, its specialisation means that it’s a little less versatile overall, with not a lot of room for customisation. Hey, why mess with perfection?

The McLaren P1 GTR '15. | Joel Franey/USGamer, EA

McLaren P1 GTR ‘15

  • Rating: 363
  • Max Potential Horsepower: 1,209
  • 0-60 MPH(s): 2.40
  • Top Speed (MPH): 217
  • Unlocks at: REP Level 40

The P1 ‘14 brought its bigger, better brother along in the form of the GTR ‘15, a true racecar that boasts the best acceleration in the game. Driving this car is more like being fired out of a cannon than anything else, and for all its strengths, it can’t function off-road even slightly.

The Ferrari FXX-K Evo. | Joel Franey/USGamer, EA

Ferrari FXX-K Evo ‘18

  • Rating: 363
  • Max Potential Horsepower: 1,446
  • 0-60 MPH(s): 2.50
  • Top Speed (MPH): 217
  • Unlocks at: Being a member of a Level 50 Crew
The true value of friends is shown when your crew’s efforts earn you this lightning-fast Ferrari. Built perfectly for on-road racing, it has the second-best engine and acceleration in the whole game.
The Koenigsegg Regera '16. | Joel Franey/USGamer, EA

Koenigsegg Regera ‘16

  • Rating: 400+
  • Max Potential Horsepower: 1,500
  • 0-60 MPH(s): 2.70
  • Top Speed (MPH): 255
  • Unlocks at: REP Level 50

Look, there’s no contest here. While the other cars on this list are superb and choosing between them isn’t easy, the Regera leaves them all figuratively and literally in the dust. It has unrivalled power, speed, and even a little more validity off-road than other supercars (though not by much). We fully expect that Need for Speed Heat’s best racers will all be using some version of this car, assuming they don’t just break warp speed and disappear forever.
