The Evil Within footage, screens escape QuakeCon

It seems to be the day for off-screen footage; here's less than a minute of Shinji Mikami's new horror game The Evil Within, which is more than most of us have seen.

The footage seems to have been captured at an event - some versions include a brief spatter of crowd cheering at the end. It was probably taken at QuakeCon in Austin, Texas this weekend.

It's not clear which version released first, AllGamesBeta or DarkPhantomGaming, so props to both.

In addition to the illicit footage, Bethesda released six new screens, which you can also check out below along with a couple of older ones thanks to Gematsu.

The Evil Within is the first game from new studio Tango Gameworks and is due on PC, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One in 2014.
