The Division won't limit clan numbers

Ubisoft intends to offer robust clan support for The Division.

Speaking to IGN, the publisher confirmed it has plans for "a very extensive web-based clan support system".

There won't be a limit on the number of players you can recruit, either.

Ubisoft couldn't state how many players will be able to share a single instance, but said that PvP will "play a very big role in our game".

The Division is an open-world, massively multiplayer shooter with co-op and competitive play. It has players in the role of a member of a squad trained to respond to apocalyptic events; squads fight to repair and recover infrastructure, with an end goal of saving society from a "dark winter" situation. It's set in New York, but Ubisoft told Catherine it may expand to other territories.

The Ubisoft Massive title is due on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in 2014. It may come to other platforms.
