The Division servers down for maintenance today

The Division servers will close for a bit of Underground preparation.

Can't sign into The Division? Yeah, it's not just you. Ubisoft has announced an approximately two hour maintenance period today.

The downtime is expected to last from 3:00am ET to 5:00am ET today. Click that link for your local timeframe.

"There will be no game changes during this maintenance, however it will be used for server optimizations and to clean up the databases," Ubisoft Massive said.

If you find you still can't sign in after the maintenance window has ended, and you've done the usual restart everything trick, check in with the Ubisoft forums for updates. The Division's Twitter usually has the goss, too.

It's good to see the RPG getting a bit of a tidy up. Regular maintenance is important even when you don't have an enormous update on the horizon; The Division Underground releases next week.
