The Division: issue with missing items at Rewards Vendor being "worked on"

If you pre-ordered The Division from participating retailer offering the Hazmat Gear Set as a bonus, you may have noticed it's no where to be found.

Many users have reported the missing items on the both reddit and the Ubisoft forums. Those who pre-ordered the game and participated in the open beta were given a code to redeem the bonus online.

At launch, the items were to be waiting on them via the Rewards Vendor in the base of operations. The Hazmat Suit is worn under a black ballistic vest and other armor and it increases the player's overall resistance to viral contamination.

The pack also comes with a backpack larger than the basic backpack and decreases damage done by exotic weapons. A POF P416 assault rifle based on the M4 carbine is also included.

Some players are reporting there isn't anything at all waiting on them through the Rewards Vendor, but others have noticed items slowing starting to roll out. Items such as Alpha and beta specific goodies such as a jacket, weapon skin and ball cap.

According to Massive, it is "currently aware of an issue with the rewards," and it is working on the matter which appears to be a server side issue.

We're sure the servers have been taking quite a beating since it launched in Australia and Europe overnight, and many in North America aren't even off work yet - so we can only imagine.
