Here's how you could improve graphics in The Division beta on consoles

The Division is among a limited number of games that offer some graphical customisation options on consoles.

The Division beta is now live on Xbox One, with the PC and PlayStation 4 version following later today. Among the usual list of settings you could turn on or off in-game are two that could improve overall graphical quality.

These settings are Chromatic Aberration and Sharpen Image, both of which can be found under the Visuals sub-menu.

Digital Foundry reports that both of these can be customised to give a better image quality, depending your TV and personal preference. Chromatic Aberration, a form of post-processing, can be either turned on or off. It's on by default and Digital Foundry says it gives the game a decayed look.

Turning it off removes the effect from the image, including the HUD. Sharpness is another thing you can control. Unlike Chromatic Aberration, Sharpness has a slider that you can customise to your liking. Increasing the amount of sharpness improves anti-aliasing and removes some of the blur, decreasing it adds a white "halo effect" on some edges.

None of these setting have any effect on frame-rate, according to the site.
