The Division: here's everything you need to know about the Base of Operations

The Base of Operations in The Division is the only place in the entire game which is personal to the player. This makes it rather important, so let's take a look at it.

Watch on YouTube

In the video above, Arekkz notes that while the player's co-op team can travel anywhere in the game with them, the Base of Operations is off limits. This won't disband the team, as it acts as a personal instance for the player.

Once inside the door, players will be able to see stats on the current state of their base such as the medical, tech and security wings.

Each wing has ten upgrades with 30 in total to choose from. There is a chest called a Stash Box which players can store weapons and other items. When a player extracts a certain item from the Dark Zones, it will automatically be organized into the extracted tab of the Stash Box.

There is also a crafting station located in the players base, and Arekkz went over crafting in this video posted yesterday. Three main vendors are also stationed in the area.

A restock crate is also located in the main room of the base and opening before leaving the area will replenish the player's stock.

If you watch the video, you will also get a look at what each wing of the Base of Operations contains.

The Division will be released on March 8 for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
