The Division 2: Castle settlement bug addressed in latest patch, but players are still experiencing issues

Ubisoft has been hard at work addressing a few bugs this weekend as many players reported an issue with the Castle Settlement and story progression.

The Division 2 has settlements you can access as you progress, but players couldn't get to the Castle Settlement as it either remained permanently greyed out, or they were caught in a cutscene loop and couldn't progress with the story.

This bug was addressed in the latest patch over the weekend, so if you replay the mission you should now be able to progress beyond the Seven Survivors cutscene and the Jefferson Plaza mission should now be available for the majority players.

Once you have the quest to speak to Agent Kelso, go to the settlement and look for the hatch in the gardens with the prompt to speak to her. Go down the hatch and the cutscene will begin automatically.

If you find the Castle Settlement too early in your progress - that is, before level 15 or 16 - you won't be able to progress with the story. Carry on with story and side missions as normal to advance your progress. You might need to replay the Jefferson Plaza mission again if you've completed too early, though.

It still seems to be bugging out for some players, and the Ubisoft official forum support team have said that they are "continuing to investigate this and we will give another update as soon as one is available" so check back soon for more updates.
