The Cole Train hints at November 16 release for Gears 2

Lester ‘Mighty Rasta’ Speight, the voice behind Gears of War's Cole Train, has given a rather obvious hint as to when Gears of War 2's going to be released this year.

Responding to questions at a US convention this week, Speight refused to outright answer when the game was going to see light of day, but said the question should be posed to him again on November 16.

Epic and Microsoft confirmed at GDC that the game would hit in November at GDC this year, so it wouldn't be the daftest thing in the world if Speight really had let the cat out of the bag.

We'll know soon enough. E3, probably.
