Team Fortress 2 Maps Workshop invites instant feedback for creators

Team Fortress 2 map makers now have a place to share their in-development creations for valuable work-in-progress feedback.

The TF2 Maps Workshop is a new beta feature added to Steam this week.

Map makers upload their unfinished maps and gather feedback from players ahead of general release - an invaluable possibility.

Whether you make maps, enjoy giving opinions on maps or, in Valve's words, are "only vaguely aware of what maps are and prefer to just walk in a single direction until you find what you're looking for", you may participate.

"Simply head over to the in-game Workshop tool and click on the new Maps button," Valve explained.

"If you're just in the market to play new maps, you can now browse the Maps Workshop and up-vote and subscribe to maps you like - or just connect to a server running a Workshop map and it will download automatically from the Workshop."

Seems legit. Get on board.
